Programs Tailor Made for All Needs

Trombone, Trumpet, Piano, Voice Programs
Lessons are tailored to the individual student and current needs. Experience, aptitude, level of playing, artistry, creativity, practice consistency and effectiveness contribute to the assessment for student needs.

Basic Program
Beginner students start by learning a basic practice routine, which includes exercise and literature, usually method books at the very beginning. This builds a basis for practice organization for a life time of success and enjoyment. They have the option of playing in recital.

Yearly Program

Advanced beginners and Intermediates explore techniques and music literacy in a sequence designed to build excellence, reliability and stamina in the player. They learn the basics of solo performance in recital.

Advanced Program
Advanced students work on standard trombone literature, prepared audition material for district, all state, New England festivals, the Vermont Youth Orchestras, college auditions and solo performances. Their challenges remain co-measurate with their growth on the instrument. We study classical, Jazz, improvisation and other styles as needed.
